Keri Mandell

Keri is the owner and founder of emPOWER Yoga. Keri started her journey with yoga twelve years ago while searching for a way to become more active and find balance in her life. Through the years, yoga transformed Keri physically, emotionally and spiritually, allowing her to connect with others, improve her fitness and gain a better understanding of her true inner-self. Being a true teacher at heart and having worked for over a decade as a special education teacher and school administrator, Keri knew that she wanted to share what she had learned with others. Wanting to give back to a community that gave her so much, led Keri to decided to complete her teacher certification and develop emPOWER Yoga. Keri is certified through Yoga Stream, My Vinyasa Practice, and Yoga Alliance. Keri is a 500 hour RYT. Keri’s high energy and go get ‘em attitude is infectious and challenges her students to want to do & be their best. Keri’s classes are fun, challenging, and are sure to make you sweat.

Keri is also a proud ambassador for Watti Ink, Headsweats, & Honey Stinger. Off the mat, Keri enjoys participating in all sorts of physical activities. In fact, Keri is also a CrossFit Coach, ultra runner, & triathlete. In July 2018, she completed her first Ironman and in February, 2020 she completed the World Marathon Challenge (7 Marathons, 7 Continents, 7 Days). Keri most recently completed her first 100 mile race and Ultraman Arizona, March 2023.

Additionally, Keri loves to give back and supports the charities- American Cancer Society, Autism Speaks, Special Olympics, and Girls on the Run.

There is nothing that gets in Keri’s way, because when you believe in yourself you will be unstoppable!

Angelique Flynn

Right after graduating Penn State in 2001 with a degree in English, Angelique Flynn took her first yoga class with her mom, as a way to spend more time together.  She fell in love with the practice, but did not make it a regular part of her fitness routine until she found Hot Vinyasa in 2013.  She was instantly obsessed and submerged herself in everything yoga by joining a work exchange program at her local studio and eventually traveling around the world on yoga retreats.

She committed to a 200-hour certification with Dana Hot Yoga in Bala, PA in 2015 as a way to enrich her own understanding of yoga and dive deeper into her practice.  After teaching her first class, she knew in her heart that anyone - no matter what age, experience, or body type - could enjoy the benefits of a regular yoga practice and made it her mission to reach as many people as possible.  Within just one year, Angelique left her career in business development to teach yoga full time.

Now, in addition to teaching yoga, Angelique teaches holistic entrepreneurs and wellness professionals how to build sustainable businesses both online and off. In the fall she completed her 500 hour Yoga Certification and is enrolled in the Masters of Science for Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine program at Maharishi International University.

In addition to teaching Hot Vinyasa, Angelique has also taught Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Kids Yoga, and Hot Power Fusion. She is always seeking opportunities to learn more so she can help more people find peace and joy. To that end, she is a long time volunteer with the Bordentown Rotary Club and Contact of Burlington County. When not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find her hanging out with her dog, Ivy.

Angelique aims to challenge and empower her students to find courage on and off their mats.  Angelique is thrilled to join the emPower Yoga community as a co-lead in this Yoga Teacher Training program.
